piece on earth
hold on, let me dust off my writing fingas.
hi this is my weblog.
i want to discuss reese's pieces. not the ordinary ones we all know and love. if you walk into your local drug store you will probably see a yellow bag of reese's pieces next to the old familiar orange one. yes, now some reese's pieces come with peanuts.
(?!?!?)
i don't have a problem with this. in fact i am in favor of it. i tried them, they taste pretty good. they don't taste too different from regular reese's, but i love peanut m&ms, and i think it's about time someone pushed the peanut envelope further.
but what's intriguing to me about this is, reese's pieces have been around for as long as i can remember. so... why now? this snack could have easily come out 15 years ago.
what was it that made Reginald J. Reese or whoever decide, "okay--2005. in this fear-mongering society, where bush reigns, and the rest of the globe hates us. NOW! NOW is the time that people will truly appreciate this EXTRA PEANUTTY SNACK!"
